Gold Rush and Old West History

The Twelve tribes of early American Indians in Montana Made Beaverhead County their Hunting and trading Grounds long before the white settler! Sacajawea, the women indian guide for Lewis and Clark, was from the Shoeshone tribe that hunted here and traded horses to Lewis and Clark! Without the help of this wonderful native Shoeshone, the Corp of Discovery, might never have reached the Pacific Ocean!
